Community Education - Environmental Sustainability Awareness QQI Level 4 Special Purpose Award
This programme will help you to develop an awareness of the key sustainability issues that affect you as an individual, your home and society in general.
Course Information
This programme covers the following topics:
- The circular economy and waste.
- Climate change, other environmental pressures, and global initiatives.
- Biodiversity and actions to take.
- Energy management, renewable energy, and water conservation.
- Sustainable food, food waste prevention, and sustainable consumption.
- Greening communities, and greenning your lifestyle.
You will be involved in creating an action plan that will help you to put into practice the skills you learned which in turn will enable you to save money and reduce waste!

No eligibility criteria.
Entry Requirements
No specific education is required, however, candidates may have a chat with the team to ensure suitability for the course.
Certification
Upon successful completion of the programme, learners will achieve a Environmental Sustainability Awareness QQI Level 4 Special Purpose Award
Course Schedule
15 weeks, part-time course.
The classes are starting at the end of February on Wednesday from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm.
