Programme
Workplace Education is a programme where we offer part-time education and training initiatives for people in employment. The project aims to upgrade the skills, enhance career prospects, and promote the educational advancement of adult workers who have minimum levels of formal education. It also aims to promote awareness of the value of lifelong learning throughout adult life. Whether you are a person in employment looking to enhance your skills, or whether you are a company looking to upskill your staff, we can help you.

Skills for Work Programme (SFW)
SFW is a part-time education initiative and part of the Government’s National Skills strategy. It is aimed at people who are in employment, who may have left school early or whose skills may be out of date. Employers can request a SFW course tailored to company needs and the programme will be delivered by Adult Education tutors. Courses can take place on company premises or in the local Adult Education Service. Opportunities exist to progress on to higher level courses e.g. bookkeeping and payroll QQI level 5.
Workplace Essential Digital Skills Programme
Workplace Essential Digital Skills Programme is an initiative developed to help address the issue of Ireland's low level of participation in lifelong learning, particularly targeting persons over 35 years of age in manufacturing employment. The initiative aims to address the lack of digital skills in this cohort. The Programme is a fully funded flexible initiative, that offers an opportunity to boost employees' digital skills, adaptability and productivity.
