Full-Time - Cambridge Preparation English Test (PET) - level 4
This is a QQI level 4 General Learning course with a focus on developing your English language and computer skills.
Course Information
This level 4 course aims to enable the learner to develop the relevant knowledge, skill and competence in a broad range of skills, including English language.
This course acts as a preparation course, as upon successful completion, the learner can choose which stream to progress into at level 5 – Healthcare support; Pre-Nursing, Medical Secretary or other courses available in the service.
This course also offers a separate qualification in English - Cambridge Preliminary English Test (PET) B1.
Eligibility
Courses are free to VTOS eligible learners (over 21 years old, and 6 months – 156 days – on social welfare payment)
Entry Requirements
All applicants are assessed as to their suitability for study at level 4. Applicants who pass the assessment are interviewed.
Certification
The successful learners will achieve qualification in English - Cambridge Preliminary English Test (PET) B1.
Course Schedule
Full-Time course with classes during the morning and afternoon.
Location
This course takes place in Adult Education Centre, Blanchardstown Village.
