Course Information
The aim of this programme is to enable the learner to develop the relevant knowledge, skill and competence in a broad range of personal skills which enable personal development, and to progress to further education or training. Learners can progress into QQI Level 5 in any of the following Adult Education programmes: Early Learning and Care, Medical/Legal Secretaries or Pre-nursing.
Eligibility
Any of the following:
- Have less than upper-second-level education
- Are getting a jobseeker’s payment or means-tested social welfare payment
- Are getting a Family Income Supplement
- Have a medical card
- People signing for credits
- Dependent on someone on social welfare recipients
Entry Requirements
All applicants are assessed as to their suitability for study at QQI Level 4. Applicants who pass the assessment are interviewed.
Certification
The successful learners will achieve QQI Level 4 Certification in Office Skills or individual components leading to a full award.
Course Schedule
Part-time course with classes during the morning and afternoon.
Location
This course takes place in the Adult Education Centre, Blanchardstown Road North.
