With over two decades in Adult Education at Blanchardstown, Sharon led the Adult Literacy Programme for a decade and now serves as the Adult Education Officer. She manages a service for approximately two thousand learners annually across thirty-eight Dublin 15 locations, prioritising learner-centred education and community engagement.

Introducing Kim Hatton, our Assistant Staff Officer. Former beauty salon manager turned administrative pro. She holds expertise in Administration, Bookkeeping, and Payroll. With an innate ability to connect, Kim embodies kindness. Her joys include having the craic with family and friends, a testament to her vibrant spirit!

Meet AnneMarie, our dedicated Administrative Support. All round sports enthusiast, she embraced a new path, attaining her Business Administration qualification at Adult Education Blanchardstown. Her exceptional people skills, learning enthusiasm, and educational passion led to her success as a valued team member. AnneMarie's infectious good mood, trademark laughter, and illuminating presence make her the light of our Centre.

Meet Ina, our efficient receptionist and skilled clerical officer. With a knack for organisation and a welcoming demeanour, she ensures smooth operations and a friendly atmosphere. Dedicated to facilitating seamless interactions and providing essential administrative support. She enjoys travel with family and friends, being introduced to new cultures and experiences.

Meet Michelle, our dedicated Administrative Support. Backed by extensive administration experience and a Business Administration qualification, she exudes competence. Known for her innate warmth and people skills, Michelle is a paragon of kindness. A true music aficionado, she embraces diverse genres and enjoys concerts with her music-professional husband, fostering music passion together.

With a BA in Languages and Literature and a masters in Further Education, Thiago is our dedicated learner support worker. With a passion for education and a geeky enthusiasm for all things tech, Thiago is here to assist you on your learning journey and unleash your full learning potential.

Beti Marinescu, or Yamuna, is our Guidance counsellor/Co-ordinator. She has over a decade of expertise in helping adults in their educational and vocational journeys. A UCC graduate with an Advanced Diploma in Counselling and Psychotherapy, she empowers adults to make their career decisions in a person-centred way. With a non-directive approach, Yamuna incorporates mindfulness extensively, helping clients to make their best choices.

Julie has extensive experience across diverse client-based organisations. She believes that the greatest gift one can offer is the dedication of time and energy to aid others, driven solely by a desire to make a positive impact. She deeply resonates with the quote from Nelson Mandela: "There can be no greater gift than that of giving one's time and energy to help others without expecting anything in return.”

Josephine has a Computer Science Degree, but education is her real passion. Starting her career in the Adult Education Service a few years ago as a Computer Literacy Tutor. Now she is our Adult Literacy Organiser, managing the AKSES (Adult Key Skills Education Service) Programme. She lives in Dublin with her husband and three lovely kids.

With a BA in Community Studies, Grace is our dedicated Adult Literacy Support Worker. An experienced tutor, deeply passionate about education, she loves Irish Traditional Music and enjoys playing the flute in her free time and spends time with her four kids.

We are excited to introduce Seamus Hughes, our esteemed Community Education Facilitator, who has been an invaluable member of the DDLETB team since 2003. With a wealth of experience in the field, Seamus has left a positive impact on our community through his dedication to education.

Matthew has been working in Further and Adult Education for the last 8 years. He moved into Education after working in the Horticultural industry for 10 years. His role is to support the amazing Community Education Programme in Dublin 15.
